Neuver Maritime, VentOcean & Gelibolu Shipyard Collaborate on World’s First Hydrogen-Powered Bulk Carrier!
Neuver Maritime and VentOcean are pleased to announce a new agreement with Gelibolu Shipyard to supply an advanced steering and rudder solution for Hull No. 66 – an 85-metre, 4,000 DWT Hydrogen-Powered Bulk Carrier being built for Norwegian coastal operator Møre Sjø.
This innovative vessel is part of an historic order for the world’s first hydrogen-powered bulk carriers. Featuring a hybrid propulsion system using hydrogen fuel cells and battery storage, it is scheduled for delivery in 2027. This project is a significant step toward zero-emission shipping.
