In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVK Law”), all personal data, including special categories of personal data, that identify or may identify you may be processed by Ventocean Endüstri Ürünleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“VentOcean” or the “Company”) as the data controller.
Processing of personal data refers to any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, reorganization, transfer, disclosure, classification, or prevention of use, through fully or partially automated means or by non-automated means as part of any data recording system.
VentOcean considers the protection of personal data as a core principle and takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure that personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, transparently and securely.
1. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVK Law for the following purposes:

Planning and execution of sales, marketing, and operational activities
Fulfillment of legal and regulatory obligations
Execution of human resources and recruitment processes
Finance, accounting, invoicing, and payment operations
Corporate communication and information processes
Compliance with occupational health and safety requirements

Management of requests, inquiries and complaints

2. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, within the scope of the above purposes and in compliance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVK Law, to the following parties:
Legally authorized public institutions and organizations (TTK, VUK, SGK, İŞKUR, OHS, environmental legislation, etc.)
Independent audit firms
Service providers for business travel, organization, logistics or operational support
Legal advisors, lawyers, and financial consultants
Business partners and suppliers when required for operations
IT service providers, software companies, and cloud system providers
VentOcean does not have any subsidiaries, affiliates, or group companies; therefore, personal data is not transferred to any VentOcean group entity.
All transfers are carried out lawfully and limited to the relevant purpose.
3. Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through various channels so the Company can maintain its commercial activities. These include:
Physical documents, contracts, delivery and payment records
Job application forms, CVs, recruitment portals
Email, website contact forms, digital application systems
Official institutions, business partners, third-party service providers
Automated or non-automated systems forming part of a data recording system
Your personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds:
Explicitly stipulated in the law
Necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract
Necessary for the Company to fulfill legal obligations

4. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVK Law
You have the following rights:

b) To request information if your data has been processed
c) To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
d) To know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
e) To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
f) To request deletion or destruction under legal conditions
g) To request notification to third parties regarding correction/deletion
h) To object to outcomes arising from automated processing
ı) To request compensation for damages due to unlawful data processing
