Technical Field Service

VentOcean carries out technical field services for marine equipment and systems in line with OEM technical requirements and site conditions. These services include commissioning, maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and operational support processes. Technical field services are planned and implemented with consideration of manufacturer documentation, project requirements, and existing equipment configurations. On-site activities are conducted in coordination with OEMs and relevant project stakeholders. The technical support provided by VentOcean is structured to cover both planned maintenance activities and technical needs arising during operations. Where required, on-site interventions, remote technical support, and technical information processes are addressed in an integrated manner. All technical field services are carried out in accordance with occupational safety requirements, technical accuracy, and documentation principles, with completed activities recorded to ensure traceability. This approach aims to support the continuity of equipment performance and maintain operational risks under control.

Authorized Service Scope
VentOcean operates as an authorized service provider in Türkiye for selected OEMs, primarily Neuver Maritime (formerly Tenfjord, Frydenbo, Rolls-Royce, and Kongsberg branded rudder and steering gear systems) and Novenco Marine & Offshore. Technical field services for these brands are carried out in accordance with OEM service procedures, technical documentation, and certification requirements.

Commissioning and Initial Installation Support
Commissioning and initial installation activities for new equipment and systems are carried out in line with relevant OEM technical documentation and project requirements. During installation, technical inspections and required records are performed to support proper entry into service as planned.

Maintenance and Repair
Within the scope of technical field services, planned maintenance activities are carried out, and repair or corrective intervention works are performed when required. Maintenance and repair activities are planned by taking into account manufacturer recommendations, existing operating conditions, and operational priorities.

Remote Technical Support
Remote technical support services are provided, where applicable, as an alternative or complementary solution to on-site intervention. Technical assessment, guidance, and information exchange activities are conducted based on available data and technical documentation.

Fault Diagnosis and Technical Evaluation
Fault diagnosis activities related to systems and equipment are carried out within structured technical inspection and evaluation processes. The objective is to identify the source of the fault and define the necessary technical actions.

Training and Technical Documentation Support
When required, technical briefings, documentation support, and limited-scope training related to equipment operation and maintenance are provided. These activities aim to support the correct and safe operation of the equipment.
